Pass Plus is a practical training course which will help you to build on your newly acquired driving skills to be safer on the roads.
The course consists of six lessons which teach you how to drive in built up areas, on rural roads, at night, on dual carriageways, motorways and in all weather conditions.
There’s no test; your driving will be continually assessed to ensure that you can drive to a set standard.
The most attractive reason to complete Pass Plus is that it can reduce the costs of your insurance which is usually very expensive for new drivers. In most cases you save more than you paid for the course. Hampshire County Council also offer grants to help to you fund the course. Give us a call to find out more.
You will be taught how to deal with a wide range of road and traffic situations, many of which you probably haven't come across before. The course will improve your awareness and knowledge of hazards and help you learn how to anticipate, plan for and deal with them safely.
It can take years to become a skilled driver but with expert tuition, Pass Plus can speed up the process.
If you are a nervous driver or aren't quite ready to drive on your own, Pass Plus is a great stepping stone to independent driving.
The course is useful for new drivers and we recommend drivers take Pass Plus within 12 months of passing their test.
Statistics show that new drivers are more likely to have an accident in the first two years of passing their test than at any other time in their driving career, so get it booked in early to reduce your risk.
Never stop developing your skills, or extending your learning, as this will help keep your skills up to date and help you be one of the better drivers on our roads. Contact us for more information.
